Join a host and delve into some first-hand testimony of the Windrush generation's experiences.

After the Second World War, thousands of men and women travelled from the Caribbean in answer to Britain's call for help to fill labour shortages and rebuild the economy.

Through reading and listening to poetry, prose and quotes from first-hand testimony, this interactive activity will explore this generation's expectations, experiences and legacy in London.
