During the recent excavations of the Chelsea Barracks site in West London, thousands of historic artefacts were recovered from the lost River Westbourne by archaeologists from London Museum Archaeology.
Jason Sandy (mudlark and developer at Qatari Diar, owner of Chelsea Barracks) will present a wide variety of extraordinary artefacts and explain their unique significance in revealing the history of the River Westbourne, Ranelagh Pleasure Gardens and former army barracks.
The fascinating artefacts will be on display in the museum during the talk and Jason will answer your questions during a highly interactive presentation.
