See the remains of Roman London's military fort – hidden beneath the streets of the City of London.
Join our guide on this special tour of the remains of the West Gate of the Roman Fort of Londinium. Learn about its original use, its rediscovery after the Second World War and its preservation.
Along the way, you'll step into a medieval tower garden to find out more about how Londinium was built and what life might have been like for Romans.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of your walk.
You'll find details of the meeting point on your order confirmation and on your PDF ticket.
Walks will go ahead as planned if it rains, so please come dressed for changeable weather and wear comfortable shoes.
Please note the fort gate can only be accessed via a short flight of steps, so this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with pushchairs.
