1 – 2 Feb 2025

Welcome the Year of the Snake with mesmerising dragon dances, enchanting folktales, vibrant crafts and lively community-led events.

Celebrate the new year at our free family festival, just a stone's throw away from London's original Chinatown in Limehouse.

Listen to classic Chinese folktales, take part in workshops, get stuck into celebratory crafts and enjoy a Dragon dance. What better way to start the new year? Stay tuned for the full programme to be released in January.

General admission to the festival is free and we strongly recommend you book tickets in advance.

Ticketing

General admission tickets to the Lunar New Year festival will be released at 10am on 24 January. Register your interest to get an email reminder when tickets are released.

General admission is free and guarantees access to the festival.

Some walk-up tickets will be available on the door, but we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid any disappointment or wait time.

Some activities will require additional pre-booked tickets. Drop-in activities will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Some individual ticketed events will be available to book in advance. Ticketed events include festival entry, so there's no need to book general admission tickets if you've booked an event.

Drop-in events will be first come, first served. In some instances, we may need to direct you to other events if they become too busy.
