Online booking for our events is recommended

17 – 23 Feb 2025

Join us this February half term to explore tales (or tails?) of London's birds and beasts with a host of free activities for families.

From warehouse cats and rats to the elephants and tigers that once arrived at London's docks, enjoy storytelling, craft, trails and more.

Make a paper puppet, hear tales of the beasts of Victorian London or create digital soundscapes and pictures inspired by our animal emporium. Under 5s can boogie on down to animal tunes with Double Bass Dan. And don’t forget to follow our tail trail around the museum!

All free, all fun! There’s a mix of bookable and drop-in events across the week – please check individual session listings for more detail on dates, timings and booking methods before you visit.
