Need to know

You must book in advance to take part in these workshops. Tickets won't be available on the day. Please book a ticket for everyone in your group, including adults.

Tickets for bookable workshops will include general admission to the museum, so there's no need to book a separate ticket.

This workshop will involve handling food, including the following:

Sticky rice (gluten), mung beans, shallots, mushroom bullion powder, dong leaves, bamboo strips, salt and pepper.

Anyone with allergies to the above should not take part. Please speak to the session leader if you have any concerns.

If you have any questions in advance, please contact [email protected]

Banh chung cakes will need to be cooked at home after the workshop. The cakes take three to four hours to boil in a pan, or one to two hours in a pressure cooker.
