Roots & Branches
The aim of the national Roots and Branches project is to create an environmentally aware and active sector, giving museums the tools to become more environmentally responsible.
The award-winning Roots & Branches, environmentally-driven collaborative project between Museum Development England, The Carbon Literacy Project and Manchester Museum has now launched the new programme for the next two years, running from June 2024 until March 2026.
Roll-out will continue across the country of the highly successful carbon literacy and trainer support sessions, with the related toolkit.
A series of thematic "Seeds for Action" sessions are for those who have undergone the carbon literacy training, including continuation of "connect and co-work" and "in focus" sessions, as well as case study resources.
Details of all of these sessions will appear on our training programmes page as they become available to book, so you should check back there periodically.
