London Museum Spaces
Open for venue hire only
The doors to our 150 London Wall site opened in 1976 and on 4 December 2022, we welcomed visitors for one last time, before closing in preparation for the move to our new museum in Smithfield.

Getting here
Even though our site at 150 London Wall is closed as a visitor attraction, it can be still hired for events – now with even more daytime availability.
Please note that the museum is closed as a visitor attraction. But if you're coming here for a conference, dinner or reception, here's how to get here and find us:
By Tube & train
Barbican (5-minute walk)
St Paul's (5-minute walk)
Liverpool Street (15-minute walk)
Farringdon (15-minute walk)
By bus
Buses 4, 8, 25, 56, 76, 100, 133 and 172 all stop nearby
The museum is on a pedestrian highwalk which can be reached by stairs, escalators or lifts from Aldersgate Street, London Wall or St Martin's-le-Grand.
Behind the scenes, work is underway auditing and digitising our collection as we take on the long process of decanting 10,000 items from London Wall’s galleries.
A further half a million objects need to be packed up from our London Wall stores, before we reorganise our seven-million-strong collection and prepare items for display at Smithfield.
