Our galleries are free to visit, but we ask that groups of 10 or more book in advance below with at least two weeks’ notice.
There’s a lot to see, so we recommend at least two hours for your visit.

Go in-depth at the docks with our Welcome to Docklands tour, from £10 per person.
Join one of our hosts for a 75-minute highlights tour that gives you an overview of the London’s river, port and people. The tour stops at all the museum's galleries and focuses on key objects and the stories behind them.

Great Fire of London (45 minutes)
Join us on a fun family walk exploring the Great Fire of London. Was the baker on Pudding Lane to blame? And what did Samuel Pepys bury in his garden?
Roman London (45 minutes)
Go back 2,000 years and walk the streets of Roman Londinium. Visit the remains of the Roman city wall, the location of a long lost fort and a hidden amphitheatre.
London during Second World War (45 minutes)
Join us on a walk through the city of London to explore the impact of the Second World War on the lives of ordinary Londoners. How did the war affect children? Women? Food? See the marks that the war has left on the city.
