Our venues can be hired for show-stopping evening events. Dinners, receptions, product launches, award ceremonies and all sorts.

London Museum Docklands

Our venue in Docklands can be hired for evening events up to 1,400 guests. Host a huge reception in the historic Muscovado Hall, or a small dinner in the Boardroom with views of Canary Wharf's bright lights.

Our galleries – full of history about the docks – can be hired to entertain your guests. You can even host a dinner in our No. 1 Warehouse gallery.

    Muscovado Hall – up to 1,400 guests

    Where grand proportions and original features create a perfect backdrop for evening events. Enhance your dinner or reception with a built-in bar area and treat your guests to spectacular views of the Canary Wharf skyline from the terrace.

    Galleries – up to 120 guests

    Roam in our galleries after hours, which tell the story of Docklands. Dine among the artefacts in the No.1 Warehouse gallery, where the history of the building is brought to life.

    Quayside Room – up to 100 guests

    Bare brick walls and direct views over the docks give the space character and atmosphere. With flexibility in layout, it's a popular venue for dinners and receptions.

    Riverside Room – up to 300 guests

    This space benefits from its own entrance and private terrace, meaning guests can enjoy the skyline as well as the stunning atmosphere of the docks.

    Boardroom – up to 16 guests

    Ideal for smaller dinners. Located on the top floor, its peaceful location with skyline views makes it a charming choice for more intimate events.

    Wilberforce Room – up to 350 guests

    Perfect for a whole variety of dinners and parties, with capacity for up to 240 guests for dinner and up to 350 for a standing reception.

    Rum Store – up to 200 guests

    Pitch pine columns, exposed brick walls and direct access to a stunning private terrace make it perfect for a range of evening events – whatever the weather.

London Museum Spaces

This venue at 150 London Wall is our iconic building by the Barbican, ready for evening events. Think summer parties on the outdoor terrace, award ceremonies in the grand London Ellipse Hall and dinners in the Garden Room with lush scenery.

    Entrance Hall – up to 400 guests

    Arrive in the striking Entrance Hall of our old museum building and be welcomed by our hosts.

    London Ellipse Hall – up to 600 guests

    A unique event space in the heart of the museum with a show-stopping digital ellipse and plasma screen – perfect for award ceremonies and celebrations.

    Weston Theatre – up to 230 guests

    A purpose-built lecture theatre providing a high spec venue for presentations, award ceremonies, evening lectures and screenings.

    Terrace Gallery – up to 150 guests

    A beautiful setting for an evening reception with a range of menus to match, from canapés and fork buffets to barbecues and hog roasts.

    Garden Room – up to 250 guests

    A tranquil light-filled space with capacity for up to 60 guests for dinner. It be combined with the Terrace Gallery and terrace to create a reception space for up to 250 guests.

    Terrace Boardroom – up to 12 guests

    Perfect for intimate dinners for up to 12 guests, or it can be hired with the Terrace Gallery to be used as a greenroom or cloakroom.
