Our Picture Library has a dedicated team of Picture Researchers and offers two services: image licensing and location hire. We're here to help.

About image licensing

Our collection is home to thousands of images that can be licensed for commercial use or reproduction. Our collection includes paintings, prints, drawings, maps, photography and objects. Plus, we're always adding to this, so we're bound to have something to suit your needs.

About filming & photography permission

Our spaces in the City, Docklands and Hackney, can be used for film shoots. We have curators with expertise in over 2,000 years of history, as well as seven million objects in our collection, so we can help you bring your stories to life.

We've worked with a lot of film crews and you'll find us in TV programmes like Who Do You Think You Are?, Mastermind and The One Show.
