Port of London: The Custom House and Buildings looking west
This view of the Port of London shows the crowded River Thames just below London Bridge. Rows of boats are moored up outside the Custom House on the right, while several steamers pass by and watermen and ferrymen ply their trade. Above the bridge and Custom House are: (from left to right) the dome of St Paul’s, the spire of St Magnus Martyr, the Great Fire Monument, and the spires of St Dunstan-in-the-East and St Mary-at-Hill.
