A Back Front View of an Old House adjoining the Banqueting House Parliment (Sic) St. Structures to the north of the Banqueting House. The 17th century-staircase tower continued to provide access to the Banqueting House even after the Court Gate had been demolished in 1765 and replaced with the simple rusticated gateway seen on the right of the drawing' (S. Thurley in The Lost Palace of Whitehall catalogue, 1998).
