Paintings, Prints & Drawings — 1734; c. 1828
M. Christopher Miller (The German Giant)
Maximilian Christopher Miller (1674-1734), said to have been nearly 8 feet in height.
The inscription (1734) presumably refers to the death date of Miller, rather than the production date of the engraving, which is estimated by the BM catalogue to be 1828.
