A General Prospect of Vaux Hall Gardens shewing at one View the disposition of the whole Gardens
Bird's eye perspective view of Vauxhall Gardens showing the many temporary ornamental strucutres that entertained visitors to the Gardens, the bandstand, in the centre, the supper boxes round the edges and the red brick wall to the road which hid the pleasures within. The company promenade -- mostly in couples --in the fashion of the 1740s with large paniered skirts. A6690X is an uncoloured version.
