Miscellaneous: An old chain used for securing dead pirates at Execution Dock, Wapping, photographed in January, 1932.
The chain was raised by the dredger 'Frederick' which was excavating on the site where many pirates were executed. The chain is now on display at the Museum of London Docklands at Canary Wharf.
