Banner Flotant of the Folklore
One of two Banners of the Folklore, designed by John Hargrave in . June 1929. The banner represented mankind's past and future: one side showed a stylised burial of primitive man: the other, mankind of the future overcoming machines. The banner was first seen at the 1930 Althing and was carried to Silbury Hill in June 1930.
