The sailing barge on the left is the Tam O'Shanter. She was built at Sittingbourne in 1904 and was lost after she capsized off of Clacton in April 1943. See also 2013.10/37. Photographed for E. Arnot Robertson's book 'Thames Portrait' (1937).
