Dress
Mint-green wool jersey mini dress, constructed of four godets each front and back, flaring out below the waist. Long sleeves with false shirt cuffs and self-colour plastic button. 'Mary Quant's Ginger Group' label inside centre back, sewn in by hand. The hem of the dress is very crudely finished. A similar dress is held at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London (T.353-1974). Mary Quant seems to have used zips centre front in the mid to late 1960s.
