Sir Thomas More's Buildings in Beaufort Street in Chelsea. Chelsea Metropolitan Borough built the Sir Thomas More Estate as 'working class dwellings'. They consisted of five six storey red brick blocks with 262 self-contained flats of two or three rooms each. The flats were completed in 1904 and 1905.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
