The Bank of England in Threadneedle Street in the City of London. A horse drawn omnibus on the right advertises 'The Mysterious Mr. Bugle', a farce showing at the Strand Theatre in 1900.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
