Fashion — 1930
Coat
This elegant brown woollen coat with a sheepskin fur trim was part of dancer Anna Pavlova's personal wardrobe. It was made in 1930 so she wore it for less than a year before her death in 1931. The coat's long elegant lines reflect the state of fashion at the time.
There is a photograph of Pavlova wearing the coat on one of her international tours in the Historic Photographs collection.
