Jacket
A simple and very wearable design in the dusky colours Barbara Hulanicki favoured. This jacket would have easily fitted into the wardrobes of the girls who shopped at Biba, and could have been worn with a variety of outfits. Hulanicki explains in her autobiography, From A to Biba, that 'I felt we gave them the basics that they could then interpret in their own way. I could sit in the shop for hours watching customers who had previously bought things and now were wearing them with a completely new slant'.
