Published by the Port of London Authority to advertise its facilities and trade, The Port provided details of the wide range of cargoes imported through London in the 1930s – when it was probably at its height. The PLA were also keen to emphasise how much they had invested in equipment and buildings since they had taken over the operation of the port in 1909.
