Banner
The Occupy London movement grew out of an attempt to occupy the London Stock Exchange in Paternoster Square on 15 October 2011. The protest was organised in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street protest in New York. After City of London police cordoned off Paternoster Square, the protesters set up camp in tents outside St Paul's Cathedral where this banner was displayed. The camp remained outside St Paul's until it was evicted by the Corporation of London on 28 February 2012.
