Part of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 37, made at Les Martres-de-Veyre, Central Gaul by the potter Drusus I also known as X-3. Decoration includes human figures and festoons. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
