Part of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 37, made at Les Martres-de-Veyre, Central Gaul by the potter Ioenalis I, also known as X-11. Decoration includes a basal wreath. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
