Bowl
Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 37, with ovolo band, made at Lezoux, Central Gaul, by the potter Cinnamus or one of his associates. Decorated with panel design, including male figure, festoon containing animal figure and male figure within festoon. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
