Shop on the Kings Road
Inside a shop on the Kings Road, taken in June 1968. The King's Road which runs through Chelsea, was once a private road used by King Charles II and King George III to get to Hampton Court Palace in Kew, it was made public in 1830. During the 1960s it became celebrated for the success of its fashionable boutiques. Customers are standing on boxes to properly reach the clothes hanging on the higher racks.
