Beaufoy School, Lollard Street
Boys in the playground at Beaufoy School in December 1965. The School, opened in 1964, as an amalgamation of four secondary schools including Vauxhall Manor School and The Borough Beaufoy. The school was subsequently renamed the Lilian Bayliss School. It was located in the Lambeth Walk Estate and when built was architecturally innovative in that it comprised of a number of two and three story linked buildings rather than the more usual block. In 2005 the school moved to new premises in Kennington Lane.
