The Paris Theatre, Lower Regent Street
Exterior of the Paris Theatre in Waterloo Place on Lower Regent Street in the mid to late 1960s. The former Theatre was converted into studios by the BBC and was used as the venue for all radio shows broadcast and recorded in front of an audience. Famous shows such as 'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' and 'Dad's Army' were recorded here. The Paris Theatre was closed in 1995 and the BBC opened a purpose built studio in Broadcasting House.
