Maths student, Enfield College of Technology
Maths student in the computer centre at Enfield College of Technology in 1966. On the left is a PACE analogue computer and on the right is a hybrid computer, designed and built by students at the college. The College was originally created as the Ediswan Institute by Joseph Wilson Swan and provided evening classes for workers at the Ediswan factory in Ponders End. By the late 1960s when this photograph was taken it was part of the London University.
