Children with their Guy
Boys in the street collecting money for their ‘Guy’. On fireworks night a stuffed effigy is burned on a bonfire to commemorate Guy Fawkes and the plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament. The effigys are usually dressed in old clothes, are given masks and are walked through the streets before being burned on a bonfire.
