Rita Martin's photo of Gertie Millar is glued into an album containing another 35 prints showing the actress in various roles. The page is inscribed 'Hoop-La' in pencil. 'Houp La!' was a musical comedy which opened at the St Martin's Theatre in London on 23 November 1916 but ran for only three months. Gertie Millar played Tillie Runstand, the star of a struggling circus.
