Broadcasting House, 1952
Broadcasting house is the headquarters of the BBC and is situated between Oxfrod Street and Regents Park. The building, which is made from Portland Stone was designed by George Val Myer and was completed in May 1934. It is not symmetrical, because local residents complained about the shadow the building would cast on houses in Langham Street and alterations had to be made to the design. This photograph shows the South front of the building with clock tower and aerial.
