Gelatin silver print
Mary Quant and her husband are dancing in a large room with parquet floor, underneath a large modern chandelier. Mary Quant is wearing a striped, sleeveless shift dress with a low waist and pleated skirt. She smiles at Alexander Plunket Greene, whose head only is visible to the right of the photo.
The inscription on the back of another print in this group (IN34718) indicates that the photo was taken in the America. Mary Quant entered the American market in 1962 with a licensing deal with J.C. Penny.
