Andy Latham, independent scenery maker

A former professional actor, Andy learnt traditional craft skills and set up business making scenery in Stratford where he could be near suppliers and good transport links. Andy's workshop was in the designation area for the Olympic Park and like many businesses there he was affected by the compulsory purchase of properties by the London Development Agency. This photograph was taken as part of a project to document the site of the London 2012 Olympic Games prior to its closure for redevelopment in July 2007.
