Fishing for worms in the Three Mills Wall River by the canal house boat moorings
Colour pigment photographic print showing a man fishing for worms in the Three Mills Wall River, Stratford, 2006. Behind him there are narrow boats moored at the canal side. The Three Mills Wall River is part of a complex network of waterways known as the Bow Back Rivers. The name refers back to a series of tide mills originally fed by the waters of the River Lea. This photograph was taken as part of a project to document the site of the London 2012 Olympic Games prior to its closure for redevelopment in July 2007.
