Vessel, vessel mount
A copper alloy escutcheon or handle mount from a vessel in the form of a bust with exotic, Ethiopian features; curly hair, prominent cheekbones and ears; the eyes deeply drilled. Below the head is a stylised palmette, or possibly a lion skin and rising from the top is a suspension loop.
