View of Brunel University campus building
In January 1974 the photographer Henry Grant took a series of images of Brunel University's students and buildings. This photograph is of the exterior of the University, as seen from the campus. Students and lecturers with briefcases are shown walking to and from the concrete building.
Brunel University, situated in West London, became internationally renowned for its department of engineering and technology during the 1960s when it was established. As well as taking photographs of the University's campus, Grant also went into the laboratories and took pictures of the students at work on various research projects.
