Residents at Longbow House, Hoxton
A mother and baby standing in a doorway inside Longbow House in Hoxton, East London, shortly before it was demolished in 2003. From a series of photographs taken by Michael Donald over a four year period to document the community before, during and after the demolition of their homes as part of the regeneration of the area. Longbow House was originally built in 1929 as part of the London County Council's Whitmore Estate, situated to the west of Kingsland Road.
IN37639 shows the same room during demolition of the building.
