Crossing Picadilly Circus
A man cuts across traffic at Piccadilly Circus, in front of the statue of Eros. The Last Days of Pompeii is being screened at the London Pavilion Cinema across the junction. Collins created a number of night-time photographs playing with the bright lights of the West End to record the characters enjoying the buzz of fifties nightlife.
