Crowds at a Mosley Rally
Police hold back the protesting crowd in Trafalgar Square where in July 1962 Oswald Mosley attempted to hold a rally in favour of the National Party of Europe. Claiming the right to free speech the police allowed the event to go ahead, but were faced with great opposition from an anti-facist crowd resulting in numerous clashes and arrests. Collins was amongst a number of other photographers documenting the rally, resulting in some powerful images of protest.
