Picture postcard entitled 'History up to Date and More So by a Suffragette Pavement Artist'. Comprising 9 images captioned by rhyme relating to women's fight for the vote. The first shows an image of the Houses of Parliament and begins 'This is the House that men built'. The postcard bears the initals of the artist Marie Brackenbury. On the reverse is written a note by Emmeline Pethick Lawrence to her sister Dorothy Pethick. With postmark Holmwood May 3rd 1908.
