Catalogue for the retail store Muji, showing goods sold in the company's London stores. Muji is a Japanese company which opened its first store in Japan in 1983. The first Europen branch opened in London's Carnaby Street in 1991. The shop's name is short for 'Mujirushi Ryohin', which translates from the Japanese as 'no brand quality goods'. Muji sells a range of minimalist stationery, household furnishings and accessories, and clothing.
