The Illustrated Police News Law Court and Weekly Record
This reproduction edition of the Illustrated Police News dated Saturday October 6 1888 was probably published in the 1970s by Peter May and Marshall Cavendish. The front cover gives an illustrated account of the discovery of two further victims of the Whitechapel murderer, popularly known as Jack the Ripper. Although not named on the cover the two victims were later identified as Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes, both found murdered on 30th September 1888.
