Royal Ballet School dancers at White Lodge, Richmond Park
Boys and girls from the Royal Ballet School were photographed practising at their new studios in White Lodge, Richmond Park. The girls, alongside some boys, boarded at the school, where they received standard education such as Maths, English, Science as well as dancing practice each day.
Girls in Fourth Form and above wore black tunics with coloured belts and hairbands distinguishing their skill levels. The Director was Arnold Haskell CBE.
