Printed Ephemera — 1983-1984
The Trial and Confession of Dennis Andrew Nilsen
This contemporary broadsheet is designed in the style of a criminal broadsheet from the 19th century. It includes illustrations and a summary in both prose and verse of the 'horrid murders' committed by Dennis Andrew Nilsen in Willesden and Muswell Hill between 1979 and 1983.
Over a four-year period, Nilsen murdered 15 men. To dispose of the bodies he butchered his victims, flushing many body parts down the toilet.
