Shoe

One of a pair of lime green leather mules with an 80mm stiletto heel, dyed to match, by Jimmy Choo, 2004. They were bought in department store Liberty.

The mule has a shaped band of leather to fit above the toes which narrows toward the central part. The outer part has two cut out star shapes and between them a topstitched applique of metallic leather. Under this band of leather is a transparent piece of plastic which reveals itself under the two cut out stars and on either side of the upper part of the leather band. The inner sole is lime green on the toe area, natural coloured in the centre part and lime green on the heel area where the inner seam descends into a soft curvy point. The sole is natural leather.
