Caption: The most fashionable Dresses of the Year 1791.
The plate is divided into two parts. On the left side, a woman is represented, standing in a garden and picking some flowers. She wears a long dress with a corset and a large scarf on her shoulders. She has very long gloves and a top hat garnished with ribbons. There is a little dog next to her. The second part of the plate represents four women wearing very different hats. Some are garnished with feathers, ribbons and piece of decorated fabric.
